insert an invalid sim into the device (ie non vodafone)
turn on the device and connect to the wifi eg VodafoneMobileWiFi-D15D
go to the routers management web page at the address http://192.168.0.1 in your browser, you should see this page:
login to this page using the password: admin
once logged select 'mobile broadband' from the top menu
select 'connection' from the left menu
select 'accout type' dropdown and select custom
enter the APN details for your new network provider
press save and return to http://192.168.0.1, you should see your network provider state change from disconnected (red) to connected (green tick) on the status box on the right of the screen
